Wow! It’s been a whole year!
Last year at this time I was 6 months pregnant surviving the crappy RV parks in California. We decided to head to Beck’s house early and spend a month + before heading to SLC. We stayed in Utah for the birth of our first daughter and then Covid-19 hit so we decided to stay through the summer. On September 20th we had Blakely Rose’s baby blessing and headed out soon after. It was sad to leave my dad’s house and the “nest” we called it but as Dad said, “you can’t live in my basement forever.” Wise words father.
So we packed all our stuff, babies stuff, and anything we got for Christmas and over the last few months and headed back down to AZ. We had a mix-up when we had to pick up the RV from the lot we were storing it at. Luckily, our 37 foot home fits in Beck’s driveway and hopefully, we can dodge the HOA until we leave.
I was crazy nervous that we wouldn’t be able to get all our stuff in the RV but that huge vehicle has a lot of storage! It also felt like a “loaves and fishes” situation where we just kept finding room to store things.
Our Tiffin is still having a hard time starting and seemed like it had a gas leak so we took it in for repair. Originally it was supposed to be an oil check and a look over but now that there are actual repairs, it might take longer than expected. Boo! We had hoped to leave on Monday but it might be longer. At least we are comfortable here with family right? It’s just a big ole waiting game. Maybe the weather will be better as we get further into October.
We aren’t really sure where we want to end up in Texas but we like the idea of Waco. Never been there before but hey, we might like it. Fingers crossed we figure out what we’re looking for.
I do feel nervous being away from family but life is an adventure and if it doesn’t work out, we can always move. We aren’t trees you know.
