Headed to Utah
Oh, we sure do love visiting family in Utah. We try to go in the summer because Texas gets HOT and I do enjoy Utah in the summer. The nights are cool, the days are long, the grass is perfect, and it’s always great spending time with family.

We have a bunch of family/friends in Utah so we bounced around for the 3 weeks we were there. We first stayed with Trevor’s family up in Huntsville (one of my favorite places in the world). They have 3 boys so it was fun to have everyone up. We also had Joanna coming up for education week at BYU so she was staying with Hi-D’s family and they all came up and stayed at Trevor’s for a few days.
After staying in Huntsville we went and stayed in Lehi Utah with our friend Candance. Our dear friend from Austin. She has a son about the same age as Bronson and they got along super well! Jen also came up so we had some fun shopping, and really just hanging out.
We even went to a Real Soccer game! So fun. They have season tickets and invited us to come along. We also all went to the play Hamilton. I have always wanted to go. It was beautiful and made brought back good memories of living with my two besties.
The last week we stayed at Jason and Jenni’s in sugarhouse and did a tribute to Blakely. It was hard but we are trying to make happy memories in these places so we don’t always hurt when she isn’t there.
I didn’t take many pictures on this trip. It was the first one back to Utah without Blakely and I was pretty emotional about it.
Camping with Aunt Jen
Jen invited us up to Lake Whitney with some of her neighbor friends. Bronson loved it of course cause he could throw rocks. I do think camping with kids is important, but it is a lot of work.

How did we get so lucky to have an Aunt Jen? She is so loving to our kids. There is no greater compliment to a parent than someone truly loving your children.
